Co-operative Trials Group for Neuro-Oncology

The Cooperative Trials Group for Neuro-Oncology (COGNO) conducts clinical trials and research for people living with a brain tumour.It was established in 2007, following a need to develop a central mechanism that enabled a coordinated, structured approach to manage large scale multi-centred neuro-oncology trials.Funded by Cancer Australia, COGNO is a member of the Cooperative Clinical Trials Groups of the Clinical Oncological Society of Australia (COSA) and has a close working relationship with the COSA Neuro-Oncology Group.The group is located at the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) Clinical Trials Centre (CTC) at the University of Sydney. The NHMRC CTC coordinates the trials activity within COGNO.
