Ballarat and District Aboriginal Cooperative

The Ballarat and District Aboriginal Co-operative delivers health, social, welfare and community development programs to local Aboriginal people in the region. The co-operative provides inclusive and culturally appropriate services including a medical clinic, Koorie family services, children and youth services, kinship care, family violence, My Aged Care, drug and alcohol rehabilitation and justice support, among others.It is focused on prevention and early intervention, and takes a person-centred approach to ensure clients are engaging in the development and nurturing of their own futures.The co-operative is the Aboriginal Community-Controlled Organisation for the Ballarat and district area and covers four local government areas (LGAs).
