Where are your favourite places to travel?

The best place I’ve travelled is a tough one. Having lived and worked on most of the continents, they all have plenty to offer. Antarctica would be the most unique, being largely uninhabited and having wildlife that is totally unafraid of humans. Luckily, I’ve been able to spend several months there.

What’s your favourite part about being a Gift in Will Supporter at Cancer Council Victoria?

Being a Gift in Will supporter is being a little selfish in that it makes me feel better about myself and, maybe even a little bit special too. Every little bit helps, and if everyone thought that way it would be even better!

Where are your favourite places to travel?

As a child, along the coast of Victoria from Torquay to Apollo Bay by car. As an adult, there’s Fiji, and across America from the west to the east coasts with all the canyons and driving along highways looking down on the Pacific Ocean. There are also the rivers of Europe, plus driving around Australia to see Alice Springs, Darwin, and the Kimberley gorges. It is a great world to travel.

What’s your favourite part about being a Gift in Will Supporter at Cancer Council Victoria?

That through life I have managed to assess finances enough to be able to assist organisations who are researching not to treat but eliminate diseases. And because as a Christian it is also to help those unable to look after themselves.

During this visit we fell in love with the people and the country. We made many connections with Japan that remain to this day.
