Jay is an early career researcher and epidemiologist with a Master of Epidemiology from the University of Queensland and a background in bioinformatics and population health research. His work spans clinical trials in infectious diseases, large-scale health datasets, and genetic epidemiology. He has published Mendelian randomisation research investigating links between phenotypes and melanoma outcomes.

Jay’s research interests include clinical and infectious disease epidemiology, cancer epidemiology, and the integration of genetic and proteomic data to better understand disease risk, outcomes, and prevention.
