Call for sessions - 2018 World Cancer Congress

The three day event with participants from over 150 countries will feature the theme Strengthen, Inspire, Deliver. Integrating patient referral to information and support in a hospital setting

Clinician referral to cancer information and support services can influence patient uptake and enhance ability to initiate self-care and maintain quality of life. A recent study using a prescription pad style of routine referral to cancer information and support services showed a positive impact on patients’ behaviour to seek support.
