Sugar and cancer

Drinking sugary drinks, such as soft drinks, can lead to weight gain and can increase your risk of diseases, including cancer. A recent analysis of Health 2020 data by Cancer Council Victoria researchers found that, in addition to this known link between obesity and cancer, there is also a link between frequent consumption of sugary soft drinks and cancer that is not related to body weight.
