Alcohol consumption among teens a health concern, but new data shows a declining trend among older students

New research released today from the Australian Secondary Students’ Alcohol and Drug Survey (ASSAD) 2022/23 shows almost two thirds (65%) of adolescents aged 12 to 17 years have ever tried alcohol, while more than a fifth (22%) consumed an alcoholic product in the past month.
