It is a real delight to bring you the latest updates on the impact of your generous support in this edition of Breakthrough.
The year has kicked off to a flying start with Relay for Life events taking place across the state, we put the spotlight on lifesaving research for Cancer Research Giving Day, and have awarded some of our best and brightest young researchers with funding grants to pursue ground-breaking work improving treatments and outcomes for people with cancer.
This vital work is made possible thanks to the generosity of Victorians sharing our vision who are hosting a morning tea, contributing via a monthly donation, buying daffodils or sun protection products, taking part in a Relay, playing golf or fundraising in their own unique way. I encourage you to explore the latest Annual Review at your leisure and share in the pride I have in the achievements we’ve made together.
Thank you for your continued generosity.

The Colebatch Fellowship is a $1.5 million grant funded entirely by supporters like you. It’s awarded to the most outstanding cancer researchers in Victoria who show the drive and vision needed to achieve the next cancer breakthrough.
The Fellowship was named in memory of pediatrician Dr John Colebatch, a pioneer in the use of chemotherapy in Australia in the 1950s.
