Arts Awards 2007 marks a decade of reflecting on cancer

Sunday 27 May, 2007

Victorian residents are invited to join in The Cancer Council Victoria Arts Awards 10th year celebrations, with a unique exhibition opening in Melbourne on Saturday 21 July 2007 at Gallery 15@15W and touring regional areas.

The Arts Awards, which this year attracted 450 entries from across Australia, is an annual event which invites entrants to share their cancer experience through creative expression.

Artists of all ages have this year conveyed their cancer stories through visual art, film, children's art and writing, short stories, poetry and Indigenous art, with all entries focusing on the theme ‘Revelation.'
