Entries will close on Friday 6 April for The Cancer Council Victoria Arts Awards Revelation, which marks a decade of reflecting on the cancer experience through creative expression.
With the closing date fast approaching, the Cancer Council is encouraging Victorians to submit artworks, poems, films and short stories in order to be eligible for cash prizes and inclusion in a travelling exhibition.
Entries can be from personal experience or in honour of loved ones touched by cancer, and will provide a sense of hope and understanding for those affected by cancer.
In 2006 there was a fantastic response from across Victoria and the Arts Awards organisers are encouraging Victorians to be part of this special 10th year.
Selected works will be displayed in The Cancer Council Victoria Arts Awards Exhibition, which will begin in Melbourne in July and then tour regional Victoria across 2007.
Entries are open to anyone, young and old, with a personal or indirect experience with cancer. Artworks may be submitted under the following categories: Visual Art, Short Story, Film, Poetry, Indigenous Art, Children's Writing and Art.
Entries for The Cancer Council Victoria Arts Awards Revelation will close on Friday 6 April. For more information or to register today call 1300 65 65 85 or visit the Arts Awards section of our website.
