It's important to us that you have confidence in the integrity of our service. You can browse our shop anonymously until you place an order. We then request your personal information so we can fulfill your order. We don't pass on your details to other parties.
If you prefer, you can browse our online shop and then visit our physical store to make your purchase in person, at 1 Rathdowne St, Carlton, Victoria, 3053.
Any queries about your details or transactions can be made via email to shop@cancervic.org.au or phone (toll free) 1300 363 433.
We protect the security of the data you send us through physical, electronic, and managerial procedures. We urge you to also take every precaution to protect your personal data when using the internet. Change your passwords often, use a combination of letters and numbers, and make sure you use a secure browser.
Our online shop uses industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption on all web pages where your personal information is required. This protects the confidentiality of your personal and credit card information while it's transmitted over the internet.
We don't store your credit card number. To protect your credit card details we ask that you re-enter your credit card number for each purchase transaction.
Most banks and card issuers either cover all the charges that result from unauthorised use of your credit card, or may limit your liability to just $50. In the unlikely event of unauthorised use of your credit card, you must notify your card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.
If you have 'cookies' enabled, your browser will tell the shop your member login information when you visit. Cookies can't retrieve information about you. They're a means of storing information in your browser so our shop will recognise your computer the next time you visit. If someone else has access to your computer they can log on to the store using your membership (though they won't have access to your credit card details). If you feel this is a liability, you can turn off cookies in your browser preferences. You will then need to 'login' each time you visit, to access member services.
