Germ cell tumours are cancers that occur in young adults, most commonly in the testicles in males and ovaries in females. Chemotherapy is a very effective treatment but does not cure all cases.
This study is attempting to improve treatment by assessing whether chemotherapy can be repeated every 2 weeks rather than the usual 3-week interval.
