Overall, Cancer Council Victoria has funded $69 million worth of research conducted in universities, hospitals and research institutions since 2003*. This includes more than $16.2 million worth of research into detection or treatment, which is relevant to all tumour types.

*This research does not include projects conducted by the Victorian Breast Cancer Research Consortium, the Victorian Cancer Registry or by the research divisions within Cancer Council Victoria.
