September sees the Cancer Council's annual Prostate Cancer Call-In, where men across Australia are encouraged to call 13 11 20 and talk to leading prostate cancer specialists, cancer nurses and dietitians via the Cancer Council Helpline.
The call-in offers men and their families expert advice and the latest knowledge about prostate cancer – all from the comfort and privacy of their own home, and for the cost of a local call.
Prostate cancer specialists are available from 6–9 pm, and our team of specialists includes urologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, prostate cancer nurse specialists and dietitians. They can help with advice on range of topics, including:
The Cancer Council Helpline will have a special focus on prostate cancer issues on our special Prostate Call-In day, but information and support in relation to any type of cancer is available throughout the year from experienced cancer nurses who staff the Helpline.
