Regulation & function of RIP kinase 1 & RIP kinase 3

Project Description

RIP kinase 1 and RIP kinase 3 are proteins that can activate pathways that regulate gene expression, but can also activate pathways leading to cell death. Determining how RIP kinases work, and the nature of the cell suicide process they activate, might be harnessed to cause the death of unwanted cells, such as cancer cells.
