In addition to the effectiveness and feasibility of implementation of public health interventions, an important criterion for evaluation is public acceptability. The aim of the study was to determine acceptability amongst the Australian community of potential public policy proposals aimed at obesity prevention and to determine whether support for these initiatives differed by sociodemographic profile.
