Development of an innovative approach to treating cancer

Project Description

This project explores the use of tumour targeting bacteria that convert non-toxic drugs into potent anticancer agents specifically within the tumour.

This work will lead to new cancer treatments that do not cause the severe side-effects associated with many other traditional cancer therapies.
