Improving therapies in colon cancer with a unique model system

Project Description

This project will assess potential new therapeutics directed at colon cancer. We propose to create a mouse that produces in the colon a human protein A33 that is also found in colon cancers. These mice will provide a unique model for studying the efficacy and safety of novel therapies for colorectal cancer directed at A33 antigen.
