New data shows lung cancer has overtaken breast cancer in female cancer deaths

A new report from the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare has revealed that lung cancer has overtaken breast cancer as the cause of the most cancer deaths in Australian women.

Distressed callers answered at Christmas

More than 2000 Victorians will be told they have cancer in December, over 800 will loose the battle and many will be told the good news that they are cancer free. The Cancer Council Victoria today urged the community to be aware that a helpline would operate over the Christmas period.

Nurses urged to register for revamped program
