This 1-day program is for health and community workers new to the area of breast health and breast cancer, or those who want to update their skills and knowledge.
Our aim is to provide participants with the ability to present breast health education to individuals and groups. Topics include:
The registration fee of $150 (GST not applicable) covers lunch and refreshments, a certificate of attendance, the BreastHealth training manual, a pack of breast health resources, and access to our community education PowerPoint presentation.
The program is held at our Carlton office but can also be run at other venues, including rural Victoria. If you have a venue and a minimum of 10 participants interested, please contact us.

Local Indigenous artwork was used to develop this culturally appropriate breast health resource. Developed in consultation with the community in Victoria, it's a call to action for Indigenous women to be strong in their communities by being breast aware.

Designed to complement BreastHealth education sessions, the kit contains the BreastHealth video, the BreastScreen video – For Me and My Family, and breast models. They are kept in community centres and are available for loan.
