Joe is a recently qualified intensivist working in the University Hospital of Geelong ICU, a mixed medical, surgical and paediatric unit. His special interests include extracorporeal life support, paediatrics, and communication with patients and families relating to critical care illness.

I am Associate Head of School (academic) at the School of Health Sciences, University of South Australia. Over the last twelve months I have been leading a project to build flexible learning resources that can be used by multiple health disciplines to teach clinical communication skills. In this project we have used the Health Care Professions Core Curriculum developed by tEACH to guide the project.
