GPs are an important part of the cancer journey for a patient and their family. The patient management frameworks are guides for health professionals for this important care pathway to ensure patients and families are supported. The Victorian Government encouraged the development of the frameworks in collaboration with practitioners, consumers and carers. They're based on current best practice and are a statement of consensus as to currently accepted treatments. A full list of Patient Management Frameworks is available from the Victorian Government website
