Cancer screening: why it's so important for your clients

Focuses on the three national screening programs in Australia: bowel, breast and cervical.

Cancer Council Victoria, PapScreen Victoria and BreastScreen Victoria will collaborate to present a Cancer Screening Workshop.

Primary health professionals such as practice nurses, practice managers, and nurse Pap test providers are encouraged to attend this workshop, which will focus on the three national screening programs in Australia: bowel, breast and cervical.

The free workshop will run for three-and-a-half hours. Light lunch is provided.

Attendance at the workshop will accumulate three hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

The presenters will be:

  • Kirsten Hausknecht: Community Health Professionals Coordinator, PapScreen Victoria
  • Susanne Line: Bowel Cancer Program Coordinator, Cancer Council Victoria
  • Marg Lannen, Health Promotion Officer, BreastScreen Victoria
