Students' statementThe students of 3/4a have depicted themselves as supporters, willing to cheer on anyone experiencing the highs, lows twists and turns of life. With helo of loeved ones, you can find hope as you make your way through the maze of life. The bleak colour a the start of the maze represents a feeling of lost hope by those being diagnosed with cancer. As people make their way through the maze they begin to find hope, represented by colour appearing in the maze. The daffodils held by the children represent the support of loved ones, who encourage them to continue through the maze, to find, at the end, an abundance of support and hope.
This picture is upbeat and delightful in its simplicity. You get a strong sense of an enthusiatic group effort. And what a great concept. The metaphor of the maze, with happy smiling faces along the way - peeking out with cheerful optimism and encouragement is done with beautiful simplicity, and the 3D effect is very effective and not overworked. This picture encapsulates positive attitudes and community spirit. It makes me smile. Well done.
