My photograph represents all the children who have lost a parent. When you turn the light on you see the image of the mother appear. Never feel as though you have lost a loved one because they are always with you, you just have to find them again.
This piece is so succinct. So powerful. With clever use of photography, light, and metaphor, the artist has managed to turn a seemingly sweet innocent picture of a child crossing a bridge, into a moving and spiritual image that immediately gives you goose bumps. The statement says it all; "Never feel as though you have lost a loved one because they are always with you, you just have to find them again."
