Publication profile: Facing End of Life information booklet

Tuesday 6 June, 2017

Our Facing End of Life booklet, produced in partnership with Palliative Care Australia, has been written to help you understand more about the issues you may face. We hope it will provide support and direction during this difficult period.

This may be the first time you read about end-of-life matters. The book is written in a way that you can read it in sections, some parts may be useful now, whilst other parts can be left until you're ready.

The following chapters are included in this booklet:

  • Coping with the news that you're dying
  • Common questions about dying
  • Emotional and spiritual concerns
  • Physical concerns
  • Where to die
  • Practical concerns
  • Caring for someone nearing the end of life

If you or someone you know is facing end of life, call one of our experienced cancer nurses on 13 11 20 who can provide additional support and information.
