The Wellness and Life After Cancer program assists those who have finished active treatment to make the change from clinical management to supported self management. New facilitator training will be held on 30 and 31 March 2017 at Cancer Council Victoria for health professionals interested in running the program in their local health service.
There is a growing need to address the issues faced by cancer survivors when transitioning from the completion of treatment to emotional and physical recovery. This two day facilitator training enables experienced health professionals working with cancer survivors to facilitate the education program.

Last year there were 146 trained health professional facilitators supported by Cancer Council Victoria in education program promotion and delivery in their workplace and access to online resources.
The next facilitator training will be held on 30 and 31 March 2017at Cancer Council Victoria, 615 St Kilda Road, Melbourne.
