Cancer Council Victoria is moving

Tuesday 9 April, 2013

In late 2013, Cancer Council Victoria will be moving to new premises at 615 St Kilda Road.

Whilst it will be sad to leave our two buildings in Carlton after more than 30 years, the move will provide us with the space and flexibility to provide much needed services to those Victorians who – currently or in the future – will be touched by cancer.

Having all our staff in one building will allow us to operate more efficiently and will also give us the ability to better harness ideas and innovation between our research, prevention and support programs.

Over the next ten years, cancer diagnoses are expected to increase by more than 50% so the funds from the sale of our buildings will be invested in cancer services – such as cancer research – for the people of Victoria. A proportion of the proceeds will also be used to cover our moving costs.

Our two current properties will be sold by Expressions of Interest, closing Wednesday 10 April at 2pm. For queries related to the sale, please contact:
