Cancer Council Victoria undertakes three important aspects of cancer control - research, education and support for people with cancer, their families and friends. An exciting opportunity exists within the Victorian Cooperative Oncology Group (VCOG) to develop strong network relationships, collaborative approaches, continuing education activities and research projects for the group.
Reporting to the Senior Strategic Consultant, you will develop and implement initiatives to support the work of the committees, foster new ideas and identify opportunities to extend the activities and influence of VCOG. You will also organise seminars and forums for the group and provide additional education opportunities.
Your experience may have been gained in health, education, government or similar and has allowed you to develop strong policy and project management skills. You have exceptional written and oral communication skills and you are highly regarded for your interpersonal style which enables you to work collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders. In addition, you have strong problem solving skills and are extremely organised and results driven.
