Biomedical research is mainly scientific laboratory work conducted in university departments, hospitals and medical research institutes.
We support over 90 biomedical researchers with grants, fellowships and scholarships. Our Research Management Unit coordinates the funding selection processes with independent expert advice from our Medical and Scientific Committee, Director and Executive Committee to ensure the best projects are funded.
We also support the Victorian Cancer Biobank and the Victorian Breast Cancer Research Consortium.
