Reminder letter 2004-2005

Aim(s): To evaluate the current reminder letter sent out by the Victorian Cervical Cytology Registry to women who are due for a Pap test for:
- content relevancy
- message framing
- style of language
- ability to motivate intention to screen
If required, design a new, evidence-based, reminder letter and test this letter on a sample of target women for acceptance and ability to motivate intention to screen.

Screening an invisible target group - lesbians need Pap tests too

Aim(s): The central aim of this study is to increase current knowledge surrounding the cervical screening experience of lesbians. More specifically, it aims to determine whether cervical screening rates of lesbians differed from those of the general population, to identify barriers faced by lesbians with respect to cervical screening, and to explore the prevalence of detection of cervical abnormalities in lesbians.
