Statistics & epidemiology

Our Cancer Epidemiology Centre (CEC) collects, analyses and shares statistical information about the occurrence, distribution and causes of cancer. Our large-scale studies increase our understanding of the factors that contribute to and protect against this disease.

We collect and analyse data on cancer incidence, survival and deaths in Victoria and collaborate extensively with other researchers internationally.
